From 2006 – 2014, I worked for Accessible Arts as the Arts Development Manager (visual arts + literature).
I provided advice and brokered relationships between arts and disability communities to ensure greater opportunities and engagement in the arts by and for people with disability.
I developed and project managed creative initiatives that strategically worked to build capacity in the arts and disability movement.
Key projects included a six year partnership with the Bundanon Trust to host a series of residency opportunities for NSW artists with disability. Creation of online resources to meet the access and professional development needs of artists, educators and advocates. Curated and project managed exhibitions and public programs that ensured professional development opportunities for emerging artists, curators, art writers and arts administrators.
